Government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis announced the assignment of 90 caller aerial traffic controllers astatine Athens International Airport during an interrogation with ERT.
“Ninety caller aerial traffic controllers will take up their posts successful the coming days astatine Athens International Airport ‘Eleftherios Venizelos,’ according to the ministry’s timetable,” said Marinakis.
“What remains is for them to beryllium sworn successful and presume their positions,” the authorities spokesperson added.
The appointments travel astatine a clip when aerial traffic controllers decided to stop handling definite routes, arguing that they exceeded the airport’s capableness limits. Marinakis said the government’s extremity is to destruct delays.
