Frontex rescues 63 migrants off Gavdos

Frontex, the EU’s borderline agency, rescued 63 migrants 35 nautical miles south of Gavdos, Greece’s southernmost island, connected Wednesday, authorities said.

The cognition was coordinated by the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC).

The migrants were safely recovered and were being transported to the larboard of Gavdos.
