CLIA: The cruise industry a pillar of global tourism

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) celebrated World Tourism Day. As CLIA reported, the cruise manufacture makes a important publication to supporting section communities worldwide, creating jobs and vocation opportunities for sailors and crew, while boosting planetary tourism growth.

In 2024, with 34.6 cardinal passengers, the cruise manufacture generated 168.6 cardinal dollars successful economical activity, supported 1.6 cardinal jobs and paid 50 cardinal successful wages.

With eyes turned connected the future, cruise lines are committed to sustainable and liable development, done partnerships with organizations such arsenic WWF and the UNESCO World Heritage Center, promoting greener, much inclusive tourism.
