Ambitious plans for the development of Patra port

The instauration of LNG facilities for ships, the afloat integration of the railway web into the larboard infrastructure and the separation of the freight from the rider assemblage are the cardinal points of the Patra Port Authority planning.

The Presidential Decree published concerns the maestro plan, the technical specifications and onshore uses that let the start of the planned infrastructure projects.

The program provides for the south port’s transformation into a freight and vigor center.

The northbound larboard is assigned to municipality and tourism uses, with the operation of a marina and the absorption of ferry traffic to Italy and the Ionian Sea.
